Outside Sales Manager
Company DescriptionTexas Internal Pipe Coating (TXIPC) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Outside Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across domestic and international markets. This full-time leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding TXIPC’s presence within the oil & gas, pipeline, energy, and industrial sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies aligned with TXIPC’s commercial growth objectivesIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within oil & gas, pipeline, energy, and industrial marketsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, operators, and key industry stakeholdersManage and grow existing customer accounts while expanding into new markets and territoriesLead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial discussionsCoordinate with TXIPC Operations, QA/QC, Production, and Management teams to ensure accurate project scope, pricing, scheduling, and customer expectationsOversee the RFQ and quotation process, including pricing strategy and commercial reviewSupport contract negotiations and commercial agreement discussionsMaintain and manage an active sales pipeline, forecasts, and sales reporting metricsMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify strategic growth opportunitiesRepresent TXIPC at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functionsAssist in resolving customer concerns related to quality, scheduling, or project executionMaintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, and commercial activityEnsure all sales activities comply with company policies and applicable trade and compliance requirementsUphold TXIPC’s reputation for professionalism, safety, quality, and technical integrityQualifications5+ years of experience in industrial, oil & gas, pipeline, manufacturing, or coating-related salesPrevious experience in a sales leadership or account management role preferredExisting relationships within energy, pipeline, EPC, or infrastructure markets strongly preferredStrong understanding of commercial sales processes and customer relationship managementExcellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skillsAbility to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry eventsSelf-motivated with strong leadership and relationship-building abilitiesThis is a hybrid remote position requiring periodic travel for customer meetings, industry events, onsite collaboration, and business development activities as needed.
