Painter - Earn Up to $37/hr

immediate opening for an experienced painter. General Functions: 1. Performs inside and outside painting duties in a productive manner to include: - preparing paint by mixing components accurately- preparing surfaces before painting- applying specified coatings of paint 2. Utilizes standard paint equipment such as paint and airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes and other related equipment. 3. Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable application. 4. Prepares for painting by erecting scaffold and ladders properly. 5. Disposes of residual materials appropriately. 6. Assists with the training of apprentices. 7. Reports to management when the work is completed and/or if there are problems/discrepancies with the jobs. 8. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. 9. Advises management of malfunctioning tools and equipment. 10. Answers customer inquiry regarding jobs as needed. 11. Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures. 12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
