We are in a significant growth mode, and it's an exciting time to be joining our business based in the Appleton WI area.Why join us?This role can sit remotely within the Appleton WI areaExtremely great benefits packageWork life balance with Modified work weeks as needsEmployee assistance programContinued professional development and recognitionJob DetailsThis role involves designing structures resilient to both human use and environmental factors.Design structures resilient to human use and environmental conditionsConfigure structures and oversee drawing productionSelect appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support materialInspect construction work to ensure structural soundnessPrepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawingsConduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stressesProvide technical advice on safe designs and constructionObtain planning and/or building regulations approvalLiaise with clients, architects, and engineersMonitor contractor work for structural integrityAdminister small sub-contracts and manage structural projectsInspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundationsUtilize computer-aided design technology for simulation purposesQualificationsDegree in Civil or Structural EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of experience as a Structural EngineerExperience in industrial structural engineeringProficiency in STAAD, AutoCAD, and RevitFamiliarity with steel, concrete, and masonry materialsExperience in heavy to light industrial projectsKnowledge of rotating and vibration analysisAdvanced understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulationsStrong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and clientsJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
