Mechanic - Water/Wastewater Facilities We're looking for a hands-on Mechanic to help keep our water and wastewater treatment facilities running safely and efficiently. In this role, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment that supports critical operations for our community. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their mechanical career who wants to learn, grow, and work with experienced technicians. What You'll DoAssist the Lead Maintenance Technician with routine and preventive maintenance tasks Maintain, clean, and organize tools and equipment Prepare rigs and equipment for daily field use Troubleshoot, repair, or replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other facility equipment Complete work orders accurately and maintain maintenance records Keep shop and work areas clean and safe Conduct equipment tests and inspections Follow all company safety standards and procedures What You BringAbility to follow written and verbal instructions Basic writing skills needed for simple correspondence and documentation Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and support the team Prior water/wastewater or industrial maintenance experience is a plus-not required Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent 0-1 year of mechanical, maintenance, or related experience (apprentice-level candidates welcome!) Licenses & CertificationsValid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) Ability to complete SCBA training and fit testing Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently Able to climb ladders and stairways Able to work in confined spaces Must pass SCBA fit test Inframark is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
