Lead Structural Engineer - Building Structures

Overview As Lead Structural Engineer in our Building Structures group, you drive hands-on structural design for commercial and multifamily projects while coordinating multiple engagements. You’ll lead budgeting, scheduling, and client communication, and you’ll present technical deliverables at project sites and meetings. You collaborate with engineers and architects to align disciplines and meet codes and standards. You’ll leverage advanced design tools to deliver high-quality, sustainable structures and contribute to a client-centric growth mindset. ResponsibilitiesLead the technical design of building projects and manage multiple engagementsOversee budgeting, scheduling, and client communicationAttend project sites and client meetings; coordinate with engineers and architectsCoordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplinesEnsure compliance with budget and schedule while delivering quality deliverablesImprove proficiency in design, modeling, and analysis software (Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM, Enercalc, Excel)Familiarize with local codes and industry standardsAssist with budget estimates and proposal write-ups Key requirements7+ years of structural design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood)Professional Engineer (PE) license for FloridaProficiency with industry software: ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, ExcelRevit experience for modeling and construction drawings (preferred)Experience assembling calculation packages for agency submittalsClient management and clear communicationTeam collaboration and cross-disciplinary coordinationProject and time managementETABSRISARAM Structural System
