The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeAs an integral part of the mid & Large market vertical, our new colleague will:Manage and grow a client portfolio of commercial risk clients, across a broad range of industriesEducate clients and colleagues on insurance mattersAct as a liaison between client, insurers, and Aon branches (if necessary), handling questions and general inquiries and preparing correspondenceIdentifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative solutionsEnsure all procedures, internal client documents and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standardsReviewing and revising insurance program in conjunction with the client to ensure complete and appropriate coverageCoordinating/leading the strategy for the account renewal and the ongoing requirements during the year, including the marketing processes and negotiations with underwritersManaging and being responsible for the 150-day Renewal Process including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, obtaining the binding order and reviewing policy documentation and delivering to client in a timely mannerManaging all information needed to take an application, prepare quotations, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documents for billingAssisting with correspondence, client insurance summaries, promotional material, reports and presentationsCollaborating with brokers and/or contacting underwriters directly to negotiate the best terms and conditions, premiums and coverageEnsuring and compliance with all Aon information/documentation storage standardsHow this opportunity is differentThis is a high-impact opportunity to own and grow a diverse portfolio, not just service a book, giving you real influence on client strategy. Unlike many competitors, Aon combines global market leverage, leading tools and an inclusive culture that backs your ideas and invests in your growth.Skills and experience that will lead to successOver 10 years of experience in commercial insurance (Experience in Manufacturing , Power, and Renewable energies are an asset)Post-secondary education in business, insurance, risk management, or equivalent years of work experience in a relevant industry.Ability to bridging the gap between small businesses and large enterprisesGrowth mindset, strong sales, and new business acumen with proven negotiation abilitiesExceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; adept at engaging with clients, underwriters, and colleagues across all levels of seniorityStrategic thinker adept in navigating complexities of the mid-Large market segment effectivelyProficient in digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); ability to quickly learn Aon-specific softwareRIBO licensing or professional designations in (CIP, CRM, FIIC) are an asset.J-18808-Ljbffr
