*Pay:* $80K - $95K per year
*Location:* Cincinnati, OH
*Full Time Permanent Position*
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve methods and procedures for inspection, testing, measurement, and product evaluation.
* Develop sampling plans and procedures, including inspection forms, quality records, and work instructions.
* Develop and deliver quality-related training programs and create training materials and manuals.
* Monitor quality performance, identify trends and deviations from established standards, and provide constructive recommendations for corrective and preventive action.
* Maintain and analyze quality charts, graphs, statistical data, and records related to product defects, quality trends, and root causes.
* Partner with Engineering to define, document, and improve inspection and test processes.
* Support customer interactions and serve as a quality liaison with customers and customer quality representatives.
* Participate in design and production reviews to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined, documented, and incorporated into quality plans.
* Collaborate with Engineering during the development and production planning stages to evaluate drawings, specifications, and engineering changes for their impact on quality, reliability, safety, manufacturability, and product performance.
* Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure inspection and testing activities are performed consistently and in accordance with applicable specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
* Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
*Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
* *5+ years of Quality Engineering experience*, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
* Ability to work directly with shop-floor personnel and collaborate effectively with diverse work groups.
* Solid understanding of *Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)*.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Knowledge of *AS9102 First Article Inspection* requirements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
