Fields Collision Center of Orlando Job OpportunityFields Collision Center of Orlando is seeking a positive team member to join our dynamic dealership to provide a luxury experience to both our internal and external customers! We have a common purpose to ensure transparency and a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to express their ideas with a strong belief in promoting from within the organization.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and apply paint to repaired vehiclesDuties may include final sanding, masking, color mixing and tinting, spray booth operations, operate prep stations, applying primers, sealers, color, and clear coats.Works with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential. Vehicles must be correctly prepared and refinished to insure proper adhesion, color match, and overall appearance.Be responsible and accountable for all parts for any jobs that are assigned to you.Be organized and develop a system for holding the parts until they are installed on the vehicleMaintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow teammates in a positive spirit of teamworkRemain conscious of and make every effort to achieve the objectives outlined on the delivery list of cars scheduledInspect painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areasPerform general housekeeping duties to ensure the work area is clean and in complianceMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresQualificationsBody Shop and Auto experience highly preferred3 to 6 months of experience requiredOne year certification from college or technical school preferredValid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelinesOEM certified in multiple brandsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration.The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.What We OfferMedical, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Paid Basic Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan, Personal Time Off, Paid Training, Employee vehicle purchase plans, Health and wellness, Saturday Lunches, Discounts on products and servicesPHYSICAL DEMANDS - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
