Warehouse Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and shipping packages in a timely and efficient manner. This role is perfect for individuals who are comfortable working in a warehouse environment and enjoy the physical demands of the job. Responsibilities: - Receive and process packages in the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely delivery. - Manage inventory levels, including stocking and restocking shelves and storage areas. - Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers to move stock around the warehouse. - Conduct order picking and packing of packages in preparation for shipping. - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and quality standards. - Assist with warehouse management tasks, including cycle counting and inventory audits. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and productive work practices. - Perform tasks as required, such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy packages. Skills: - Experience with inventory management and order picking procedures. - Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers. - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and distribution center operations. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy packages. - Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Experience with packaging and shipping procedures. - Strong teamwork and communication skills.
