DescriptionDiscover your exciting roleThe Senior Mechanical Engineer works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, leading the mechanical design process and performing detailed analyses of mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesDocument designs with drawings, specifications, and bill of materials listDesign and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packagingInput drawings and design packages into PLM system and release via ECO processConduct design reviews and post-mortem analysis of designsGenerate manufacturing assembly procedures and drawingsConduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designsEnsure work is performed in accordance with approved practices of the companyManage projects with minimal guidanceMay direct the work of others withing the departmentWork independently with minimal supervisionOther duties as assignedShow Your ExpertiseBSME or equivalent work experience or combination of education and experience required3-5 years of engineering or related work experience requiredSolidworks, AutoCAD, Inventor, ProE or other design package experience required (Solidworks preferred)Microsoft Office Suite, Exceptional Excel skills mandatoryAdvanced knowledge of design process, ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, practices, and proceduresAbility to interact with internal and external customersAbility to exercise discretion and good independent judgment in all duties and responsibilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25lbs.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Non-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
