HSE SpecialistCoordinate and execute programs, training and effective compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental programs throughout the Illinois manufacturing plants.Define and document effective environmental, safety and health programs; administer changes to plans, as neededRecord, calculate and track KPI progress for HSEResearch, recommend and schedule planned HSE trainingConduct training for new employees and annual training as necessary; recommend changes to design, development, or delivery as necessaryConduct needs analysis to identify HSE gaps and report concerns to managementFROI, tracking, documentation of injuries; manage claims, RTW, employee restrictionsPIT Program administration, trackingPerform other duties as assigned by managerAssociate Degree (A.A.) required; Bachelors degree (B.A.) preferred, in related areaCommitment to excellence and high standardsStrong written and oral communication skillsComputer skills necessary for generating basic reports, presentations and spread sheet analysis using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Effective organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmDemonstrated ability to plan and organize projectsAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committeesProven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal skillsGood judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
