Airline Ground Handling Agent

Primary ResponsibilitiesWork in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and heatGuide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate without damage or injurySafely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from the aircraft and airportProtect baggage and other equipment from damage, loss, and weather conditionsDrive and operate heavy ground equipment, such as tugs, cargo carts, service trucks, and belt loadersAssist with record-keeping and documentation to ensure the correct routing of baggageLoad and unload baggage:Sort and stack baggage on specified carts, conveyors, or screening machinesSafely transport baggage on carts in specified areas Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalentValid driver’s licensePhysical RequirementsPhysically able to perform frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, and grasping actions.May be required to work overtime, nights, weekends.Repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more
