Treasury Business Analyst Full time NYC on site

The Traxion Group is a Management Consulting company based in NYC and ChicagoBusiness Analyst (BA) with Treasury system experience (SWIFT payments, cash management, margin, collateral).MUST HAVE 3-10 YEARS PROJECT EXPERIENCE IN THE ABOVE WITH A TOP TIER BANK OR HEDGE FUND.This role is 5 days/week ONSITE ONLY/NYC.Salary range-$110-160k.The treasury function covers several areas: Cash and collateral management, Financing, Liquidity Management, Margin, Financing Optimization and Counterparty Risk. The Business Analyst role in Treasury is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of Treasury initiatives while maintaining strategic alignment with business objectives. The in this role you would be responsible for requirements documentation, business analysis,domain knowledge, and collaboration with all teams involved in treasury operations and technology.Principal ResponsibilitiesWork across the global Treasury, Operations and Technology organizations to understand business needs and manage coordinated solutionsOwn extensive data analysis across asset classes, products, markets and trading strategies to provide business transparency, identify deficiencies and support platform implementationsOwn requirements definition and scoping to long-term strategic IT solutionsHands-on ownership of full delivery of IT efforts from specs to testing and production roll-outMeet with internal clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deploymentParticipate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentationProactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.Qualifications/Skills Required3-10 years of hands on experience with business analysis in financial services, 3+ years of experience in cross-product margin with detailed financial product knowledge. (Cash management and cash wire experience a plus.)Comfortable with direct query of enterprise databases and working with large, complex data sets to answer questions and model conceptsStrong understanding of financial products (Equity, FI, Futures, OTC, FX, etc) and margin policiesWorking knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and developmentProven track record of hands-on business analysis experience at an Investment Bank, or Buy Side Firm Ability to communicate at detailed levels to development teams and users and executive updates to senior stakeholders.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an independent/self-starter work ethic.
