Mechanic III
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, repairs and operates all building support equipment and maintenance tools and equipment. Assists in the installation of facilities equipment.
Requirements: EDUCATION:
Minimum:
High School education or equivalent
Preferred:
Additional training in engineering technologies.
LICENSE:
Minimum:
Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Professional Certification in one of the following: EPA Certified in refrigerant recovery, Journeyman or Master Plumber, Medical Gas Certification, First or Second Class Boiler Operator (Statrionary Engineer).
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
2 years in building operations and maintenance.
Preferred:
2 years of work experience using professional certification.
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Demonstrated ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner and to deal effectively with stressful situations.
Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.
