Warehouse & Event Operations Lead Responsibilities:
The role of the operations lead will include but is not limited to, reading and interpreting event equipment pull lists, packing and unpacking all equipment and supplies for offsite events, facility cleanliness, inventory, vehicle maintenance and occasional dish pit duties. They will possess good organizational skills, be able to drive both the cargo van and the large box truck. This individual must have attention to detail, excellent time management skills, work well with others, and frequently be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
The weekly organization of all equipment going to and from events is paramount to your success. Most days will be spent packing and unpacking event equipment according to event checklists. The individual in this role must always maintain a high level of customer service and be able to effectively communicate and cooperate with team members in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Superior organization and time management skills are required for this role.
Work schedule requires frequent evenings and weekends.
Additional duties include:
Events
Drive vehicles to offsite event spaces when necessary.
Help load vehicles with event supplies and equipment leaving the warehouse and unloading events after they return.
Inventory of returning equipment, supplies, and beverage for billing to clients.
Rental supply/equipment pickup and returns.
Setting up BOH areas and staging equipment for events.
Facility
General building Maintenance i.e.- spray paint, planters, light bulbs.
Making runs to pick up supplies for kitchen and operational needs.
Pressure washing and equipment maintenance.
Vehicle Fleet Maintenance
Monthly cleaning and washing.
Gassing up vehicles.
Follow all scheduled maintenance i.e. oil changes.
Rental Vehicle pickup and return.
Equipment Maintenance
Cleaning transits and carts on a periodic basis.
Help keep operations area organized.
Polish equipment i.e. Chaffers, platters, sturdies etc.
Upstairs storage inventory and organization.
Additional Requirements:
Experience in the food or hospitality industry preferred
Knowledge of offsite catering preferred
Valid drivers license
OLCC & Food Handlers card is required
