About Us: This Greek inspired diner blends the warmth of the neighbourhood gathering place with the elevated flavours of Greek cuisine. We pride ourselves on scratch cooking, fresh ingredients, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Role & Responsibilities: Work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations. Lead and inspire the culinary team, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish. Assist in menu development, with a focus on Greek flavours. Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control. Uphold the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization. Train, mentor, and support junior staff to foster a collaborative and efficient kitchen culture. Qualifications: 3+ years in a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef role, preferably in high-volume Greek/Mediterranean-inspired kitchens. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to manage operations, ordering, and food cost. A passion for Greek cuisine and the creativity to innovate within tradition. ServSafe or equivalent certification is a plus.
