Operations & Admissions Manager Location: Austin, TX Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: School Leadership Position Overview The Operations & Admissions Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the school. This role focuses on admissions coordination, regulatory compliance, staffing logistics, records management, and family communications to ensure the school operates smoothly and consistently. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with clear responsibilities and accountability. The position is not strategic in nature. Success depends on organization, follow-through, and reliable day-to-day management. Admissions & Family Experience Manage student admissions inquiries and application processes Coordinate tours for prospective families Oversee new family onboarding and enrollment documentation Support tuition payments and scholarship coordination Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and newly enrolled families Compliance & Accreditation Coordinate compliance with CPS, health department, fire safety, CPR, and facility safety requirements Manage staff fingerprinting, background checks, and required certifications Partner with state agencies on standards, inspections, and required training Support ongoing accreditation documentation and reporting Staffing & Scheduling Support Track staff compliance training and required certifications Coordinate substitute coverage and aftercare staffing Submit payroll hours for staff and substitutes for processing Operations & Facilities Manage purchasing, supplies, and vendor coordination Oversee cleaning crew scheduling and coordination Support day-to-day facility operations and safety needs Systems, Records & Communication Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, immunization records, and emergency contacts Manage school database and CRM systems Coordinate parent communications, newsletters, calendars, and emergency notifications Support website updates and basic social media content Programming & Events Coordinate logistics for field trips, school events, Chaggim, and graduations Schedule & School Calendar Full alignment with the school calendar, including all Jewish holidays No evening work Weekends limited to school events only Predictable schedule aligned with school hours Qualifications Experience in school administration, operations, nonprofit administration, or a similar environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced school setting Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills Comfort working with families, staff, vendors, and regulatory agencies Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): What are your salary requirments?
