With our collective expertise, our strong foundation in metal manufacturing techniques, and a relentless focus on quality and innovation, PrecisionX Group is committed to delivering superior products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.Position SummaryThe CNC Operator sets up and operates CNC machine tools to manufacture parts accurately and efficiently while maintaining tooling inventory, supporting quality standards, and working safely in the tool room environment.Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM)RequirementsEssential Functions:To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each stated essential function, with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help qualified individuals with disabilities perform the essential functions.Key ResponsibilitiesCNC operation and machining supportAnalyze and interpret drawings and blueprints and plan machine setups with consideration for material type, tolerances, cutting tools, lubricants, coolants, and machine feeds.Use Mastercam and conversational programs to create forms, code parts for CNC use, and manufacture parts to required specifications.Use precision measuring and gauging tools during and after machining and determine standards for inspection of completed work and future repair needs.Second Key ResponsibilitiesTool room support, safety, and teamworkMaintain inventory of CNC-related tools and supplies and keep the work area neat, orderly, and properly stocked.Observe plant safety rules, participate in tool design and process reviews, and communicate issues related to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and tooling.Participate as a member of the Tool Room Team, support best practices, attend team meetings, and contribute to organizational cohesiveness.Non-essential ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as directed.Performs other duties as directed. Previous stamping experience preferred.Strong knowledge of CNC machine tools, Mastercam, blueprint reading, precision measuring, troubleshooting, and general manufacturing processes.Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to communicate effectively and work with little supervision.Work EnvironmentThis position involves working in a manufacturing environment that is adjacent to the shop work environment. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. It's important to maintain a high level of alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment.Salary Description$24.00 to $30.00 per hour
