Job Description
The Intensive Residential Support Home (IRSH) provides intensive community-based services for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID), mental health needs, and complex behavioral health supports. Our program works to enhance the quality of life for individuals with ID, mental health needs, and complex behavioral health supports by utilizing positive behavioral supports, multi-model clinical assessments, and other therapeutic tools.
**This position requires regular travel throughout the service area (mileage reimbursed) and on-call responsibilities**
Shift: 3rd shift 12:00am-8:00am Monday-Friday
Job Responsibilities
Provide In-Ratio
Review MAR daily
On-Call Rotation
Ensure all daily documentation is completed / Review all Documentation / QA Spreadsheet
Daily triage
Be the lead for all staff on the floor
Ensure daily schedules are followed
Ensure meds are given accurately and signed off for – Daily MAR Review
Complete all incident reports and give them to Director.
Check and ensure all medications are refilled for clients timely
Assist in training new staff
Assist with making appointments and attending appointments if needed.
Monthly Leadership Meeting
Report any personnel issues to House Supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Attendance Incentive Pay
Eligible DSP staff may receive an additional $1.50 per hour for all hours worked within a payroll period when the following criteria are met.
To qualify for the $1.50 per hour attendance incentive, the DSP must:
Work all scheduled shifts during the payroll period
Arrive on time for each scheduled shift
Not leave any scheduled shift early
Have no call-ins during the payroll period
Have no unexcused absences
If any of the above conditions are not met during the payroll period, the attendance incentive will not apply for that payroll cycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or another human service field with 2 years’ experience working with people who have ID and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs is acceptable and supervisory experience.
OR
4 years’ experience working with people who have ID and mental health and/or challenging behavior needs is acceptable and supervisory experience.
