Physician (MD/DO) Adult Outpatient PsychiatryLocation:San Jose, CA Schedule:Part-Time 20 hours/week Between 7:00 AM 5:00 PM Setting:Adult Outpatient Float Role Compensation:$200 $215 per hour Position OverviewWe are seeking aBoard-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (MD/DO)to join our team inSan Jose, CAin apart-time, outpatient setting . This is afloat position , providing coverage across adult outpatient services. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple clinic environments. Strong preference for onsite providers. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patientsDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient settingFloat between designated clinic locations as neededCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, and support staffMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standardsQualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited institutionBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryActive California medical license (or ability to obtain)DEA license requiredExperience in outpatient psychiatry preferredAbility to work independently while supporting a team-based care modelFlexibility to work across multiple sites (float role)Schedule & Work EnvironmentPart-time:20 hours per weekClinic hours fall between7:00 AM 5:00 PMOnsite presence strongly preferredAdult outpatient setting with supportive clinical staff
