Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar3-7+ years in mechanical design (ideally equipment, machinery, or automation)Strong CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)Experience with pneumatics and compressed air systemsExperience with precision components and tight tolerancesExperience with manufacturing processes (machining, finishing, etc.)Ability to perform tolerance analysis and FEA (for stress, vibration, wear)Experience with product development and NPI (New Product Introduction)Experience collaborating with electrical/controls engineers on automated systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issuesExperience in equipment, machinery, or automation industries preferredResponsibilities:Design and develop mechanical assemblies for micro-blasting systems including nozzles, pressure vessels, cabinets, and fixtures, and create detailed CAD models and drawingsDevelop compressed air delivery systems, abrasive flow control, and pressure regulation, and size components such as valves, regulators, tubing, and filtration systemsTake concepts from prototype through production release and support testing, validation, and performance optimizationCollaborate with electrical/controls engineers on automated systems and integrate motion systems (XYZ stages, robotics, or CNC-style positioning)Perform tolerance analysis, FEA, troubleshoot performance issues, and generate BOMs, work instructions, and engineering documentation
