A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting in Pflugerville, TX. This contract position offers the chance to work with a K-12 caseload, supporting students across a diverse age range. The role involves collaborating with a dedicated team led by an experienced Director and Lead SLP who are prepared to conduct interviews immediately.Key Responsibilities:Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.Provide direct speech therapy services to students, addressing a variety of communication disorders.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and IDEA guidelines.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student goals and progress.Required Qualifications:Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) or valid state licensure for school-based practice.Eligibility for or holding Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY) for candidates newly entering the field.Experience or certification related to School-based SLP or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school environment is highly preferred.Ability to manage a full-time K-12 caseload with effective time management and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within an educational team.Benefits and Perks:Full-time schedule during the school year with potential breaks aligned with academic calendars.Supportive leadership with immediate availability for interviews and onboarding.Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.
