KVEO (NBC) in Harlingen, TX (DMA 80) is looking for a full-time News Producer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and loves creating compelling content for one of Texas’ fastest-growing markets.As a News Producer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily newscasts—crafting engaging stories, building dynamic rundowns, and ensuring every show informs and connects with our audience.Duties/Responsibilities:Produce newscasts for broadcast and digital platforms, including CTVWrite and organize news stories with accuracy and creativityApprove scripts and maintain editorial standardsBalance hard news and features to deliver compelling broadcastsEdit video and collaborate with the production teamEngage viewers on social media and drive audience interactionPerform other newsroom duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)Bilingual in English and SpanishStrong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 2 years of experience in news operationsAbility to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt quicklyFlexibility to work any shift
