Assistant Infant Teacher (North Location)

Job Title: Assistant Infant Teacher Location: Little Duckling Daycare II Position Overview: Little Duckling Daycare is seeking a caring, patient, and dependable Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team. The Assistant Infant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants (6 weeks to 18 months). This role requires teamwork, flexibility, and a passion for early childhood development. Key Responsibilities:Assist in providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants.Support the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development.Help maintain daily routines including feeding, diapering, and napping.Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.Assist with observing and documenting children's development.Communicate respectfully and effectively with families and team members.Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety standards.Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff to ensure smooth classroom operations. Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or willingness to obtain preferred.Experience working with infants or young children preferred (but not required).Basic knowledge of infant care and development.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.A genuine passion for working with infants.
