Sr. Java Middleware Developer

Remote position Only W2 – No Corp to Corp OPEN TO SPONSORSHIP PLEASE NO OPT’S We are seeking a Senior Middleware Developer with strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable middleware services and REST APIs that integrate with enterprise applications and databases.Experience working with healthcare data standards such as CCD, HL7, and FHIR is highly desirable. Healthcare payer experience is a plus but not mandatory.Required Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Core JavaStrong experience with Spring BootHands-on experience developing REST APIs / MicroservicesStrong knowledge of KubernetesExperience with PostgreSQLAbility to parse, transform, and process structured data from databasesExperience working with JSON/XMLStrong understanding of API design and integration patternsExperience with Git and CI/CD practicesHealthcare / Data StandardsExperience working with CCD, HL7, and/or FHIR is preferred.Ability to understand and parse healthcare data and make the information available through APIs.Healthcare payer domain experience is a plus, but not mandatory.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Docker and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with API gateways and API management platformsKnowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOpsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills
