Help Desk Specialist

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing and customer-focused organization in Austin, TX to hire a Help Desk Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative IT team with strong leadership and hands-on training If you enjoy solving problems, supporting end users, and working in a fast-paced environment, this role offers immediate impact and visibility.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and ticketing systemTroubleshoot and resolve common IT issues including password resets, system access, and device connectivityEscalate complex problems to Tier 2/3 support teams as needed, ensuring timely resolutionInstall, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesDocument incidents, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing systemSupport onboarding/offboarding by setting up user accounts, equipment, and system accessMaintain a high level of customer service and communication with internal stakeholdersQualifications1–3+ years of experience in a Help Desk, IT Support, or Technical Support roleAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking conceptsExperience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar) is a plusStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize and multitaskExcellent communication and customer service skillsRelevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plusFor immediate and confidential consideration, please call 512.828.6700 for more information.
