Dishwasher/Food Prep

Compensation: $18-19/hr Bludso’s BBQ Santa Monica is seeking a dedicated Dish and Prep team member to join our crew. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant, as well as assisting with food preparation to support the kitchen team. AM availability is a must. Dish duties include washing and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment; keeping the dish area clean, organized, and stocked; properly disposing of trash and recycling; and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Prep duties may include washing, chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients, ensuring all items are prepared accurately, safely, and on time to support daily kitchen operations. Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction while working as part of a team Availability to work MORNINGS, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous dish or kitchen prep experience preferred, but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Shift: Day shift Morning shift Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate: Santa Monica, CA 90404: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
