And we want you.Senior Manager Engineering – Piney Flats, TN The Senior Manager of Engineering is a leadership role that encompasses all aspects of design, test, civil certification/validation, product support, manufacturing support, and customization of helicopters.This role requires a strategic, dynamic leader who can innovate processes, effectively manage and develop engineering resources, collaborate across Bell functions and sites, and maintain a strong relationship with the FAA and other regulatory bodies.Work location is onsite in Bell's Piney Flats, Tennessee facility. See more of us at What you'll be doing as Senior Manager EngineeringLead a skilled engineering team to fully develop, certify, field, and support aviation productsPartner with Bell leadership to define and execute multi-year strategies that advance and grow the aftermarket businessEnsure engineering teams perform accurate and compliant structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses in alignment with industry standards and Bell requirementsChampion effective project management practices to deliver projects on schedule and within budgetCommunicate proactively and collaboratively across Bell functions and sites to support enterprise-wide business objectivesDevelop, mentor, and coach team members to promote career growth while achieving organizational goalsMaintain and strength FAA relationships while securing approvals for MRAs, STCs, and Amended Type Certificates.Enhance customer satisfaction through robust product support engineering for Aeronautical Accessories offeringsProvide engineering support for Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) productionManage and continuously improve engineering processes to ensure the development of safe, reliable, and high-quality products.Other duties as requiredQualifications Skills You Bring to this Role:Bachelor of Science in EngineeringMaster's degree preferred15 years of engineering experience with product development with helicopter and aircraft systems5 years' experience in a leadership roleExperience in project managementKnowledge and understanding of FAA regulations preferredEffective communication skills What we offer you in return: 9/80 Work Schedule 80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)120 hours Vacation time12-13 paid holidays per year6 weeks parental leaveTuition reimbursementCompetitive salaryComprehensive health insuranceOn-site fitness centerAccess to Employee Resource GroupIt's time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
