Cashier Host/Hostess
Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to package takeout orders, greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements, all while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
Packaging takeout orders and to ensure accuracy of the orders.
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
Assist with guest inquiries and provide helpful recommendations regarding menu items.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with a calm demeanor, ensuring satisfaction.
Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences when necessary.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
Familiarity with phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally.
Experience in guest services within a hotel or restaurant setting is a plus.
A passion for customer service and helping others enjoy their dining experience is highly valued.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
