Job Overview Pelican Pool is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance, ensuring that our clients' pools are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to perform repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning and maintenance to ensure water quality and safety. Repair and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for repairs and installations. Perform routine inspections of pools to identify issues or necessary repairs. Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service needs, and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used. Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to pool maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
