```Duties:```- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as necessary- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records```Requirements:```- Valid Nurse Practitioner / PA license in the state of Texas- Master's degree in Nursing / PA from an accredited program- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner /PA- Strong knowledge of medical standards and best practices- Experience in Psychiatry or Addiction medicine is highly desirable- Familiarity with electronic health record systems- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Commitment to maintaining infection control protocolsNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
