Accounting Manager

General Statement of Job:The Accounting Manager serves as a technical accounting expert and operational leader responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This individual will oversee revenue recognition, drive the month-end close, and champion process improvements to enhance scalability and automation across the department. The Accounting Manager reports directly to the Director of Finance.Essential Job Functions:Manage the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAPPrepare monthly financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow analysis, while providing detailed revenue forecasts and variance explanationsPartner with Operations and Finance leadership to improve invoicing accuracy and provide strategic guidance on pricing models and new customer contractsLead, mentor, and develop a team of Staff and Senior Accountants, managing workload distribution and fostering professional growthServe as the primary liaison for audits, preparing workpapers, revenue schedules, and footnote disclosuresDrive innovation within the accounting function by leading systems optimization and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce close timelinesMaintain and enhance accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assetsPerform other related duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is required7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong proficiency with top-tier ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and Data Visualization/Business Intelligence toolsMust be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer serviceWhat we can offer:$135,000 AnnualHealth, Dental, Vision, and 401k for eligible employeesPaid Time Off, including Sick/Safe TimeA dynamic and challenging work environment with opportunity for growth
