Triunity is seeking a full-time lead project scheduler, or project controls engineer to join our family of project scheduling professionals to work on a major transit project in Los Angeles, CA. Reporting to the Program Manager, this Senior Scheduler will be responsible for providing support to the Project Management Team with scheduling activities and contractor/stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will have proven hands-on experience working on major transportation and transit projects, working well under pressure, handling complex issues and providing deliverables using varying methods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate preparation of cost reduction, value engineering, and risk assessment recommendations for project cost effectiveness.
Assist in determining the scheduling sequence for design, bidding, and awarding construction and professional services contracts to achieve the schedule project completion.
Analyze and provide alternatives and expected outcomes to avoid potential Project schedule delays.
Prepare detailed project schedules to establish optimal contract interfaces and determine activity relationships to accurately plan project completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A minimum of 5 years experience in Project Scheduling with at least 4 years ofscheduling experience on complex Railway Projects.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.
Ability to analyze and input data on project budgets and schedules.
Knowledge of Scheduling and Project controls principles and standard Practices.
Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office suite.
The salary range for this position is between 175k - 225k per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
