Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships and Promotions
Team: Norfolk TidesJob Title: Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships and PromotionsDepartment: Sales and PromotionsReports to: Manager, Corporate Partnerships and Promotions; Assistant GMSummary: This individual will be responsible for maintaining and developing new business through prospecting, cold calling and executing events focused on corporate partnerships. He/she will establish and maintain client relationships and coordinate/execute all phases of the partnership life cycle. The Account Executive, Corporate Partnerships and Promotions will make sales and foster strong relationships with clients to ensure customer retention.Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.Responsible for proactively pursuing and renewing partnerships with corporate partnersGenerate new business through corporate partnership salesRenew existing corporate partnership accountsDevelop potential leadsCold call local businesses and organizationsHandle incoming corporate partnership callsSet appointments with decision-makers, consistently meeting the weekly goals for sales contacts and appointmentsPublic speaking, including the ability to act as the stadium on-field emceeRepresent the organization at various networking eventsManage multiple promotions/fan experience assets each game dayProvide continuous communication with clients and customers to develop and maintain strong business relationshipsAbility to provide superior customer serviceParticipate in various sales, team and community events as assignedDemonstrated ability to work well within a team environmentAbility to attend all home games and work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStay current with changing technology, including software programsUphold, support, and promote all company policies and proceduresGraphic design experience preferred, experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plusAny other duties as requiredOther duties as assigned by GM, Assistant GM, or Manager, Corporate Partnerships and PromotionsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
