Senior DevOps Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking a DevOps / SecDevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical middleware platform used by 120+ internal applications across Digital Banking, Consumer Lending, and Brokerage.This platform powers high-volume, real-time financial transactions, including account services, authentication, and money movement. The role focuses on automation, platform reliability, security integration, and cloud-native deployments in a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevOps & AutomationDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices-based applicationsAutomate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environmentsImprove release efficiency while maintaining compliance and audit standardsPlatform Engineering & KubernetesDeploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes platforms such as Red Hat OpenShiftSupport and optimize container orchestration, scaling, and availabilityImplement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar toolsSecurity (DevSecOps)Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA)Enforce secure coding and deployment standardsSupport container and runtime security practices in regulated environmentsMonitoring, Reliability & PerformanceImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as SplunkEnsure system reliability for applications handling millions of transactions dailyPerform performance tuning, load testing, and incident troubleshootingCollaboration & SDLCWork within Agile teams using Jira and ConfluenceCollaborate with development, QA, and security teams across the full SDLCDocument architecture, processes, and operational runbooksRequired Qualifications6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform EngineeringStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environmentsExperience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA)Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)Strong troubleshooting skills in high-availability, production environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Java / Spring Boot-based microservices environmentsBackground in financial services or regulated industriesExperience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code toolsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments)Exposure to high-throughput, low-latency systemsSkills: security,cd,availability,kubernetes,automation,cloud,ci,pipelines,devops,reliability
