Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial construction projects throughout the Washington, DC area. This individual will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and contract requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeoutLead subcontractors, field personnel, and vendors to maintain schedule and productivityCoordinate construction activities, trade sequencing, and site logisticsReview and execute project plans, specifications, and contract documentsConduct daily and weekly coordination meetings with project teamsMonitor quality control and ensure work meets project standardsEnforce OSHA and company safety requirements while maintaining a strong safety cultureServe as the primary field contact for owners, engineers, inspectors, and project management teamsManage labor, materials, equipment, and deliveries to support project executionMaintain daily reports, site documentation, RFIs, and field issue resolutionQualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projectsExperience with one or more of the following:Federal/Government projectsMission-critical facilities (data centers, secure environments, infrastructure)Large-scale or technically complex commercial constructionStrong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsProven experience managing subcontractors and field teamsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
