Physical Security Systems Admin - SecurityPosition SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Physical Security Systems Admin at Compal USA Technology INC. focusing on the day-to-day monitoring, management, and optimization of physical security systems, with a strong emphasis on access control (badging) and Genetec platform experience.This role will be critical in ensuring seamless operation of security systems across our facility while supporting integrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity System Monitoring & ManagementMonitor and manage enterprise physical security systems, including:Access control systems (badging, credentialing, permissions)Video surveillance (IP-based cameras)Intrusion detection and alarm systemsAct as the primary point of contact for day-to-day system health, alerts, and issue resolutionAccess Control & Badging (Core Focus)Administer and maintain badging systems, including:User provisioning and deactivationRole-based access permissionsBadge reader and door controller functionalityTroubleshoot access issues and ensure secure, compliant access across the siteGenetec Platform OwnershipConfigure, monitor, and optimize Genetec security systemsSupport integrations and ensure system performance and uptimePartner with internal stakeholders to enhance system capabilitiesSystem Integration & SupportSupport integrations with identity and IT systems:SSO (Single Sign-On)RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)Assist in maintaining system documentation, standards, and device naming conventionsNetwork & Infrastructure CollaborationWork with IT teams to:Ensure proper network connectivity for security devicesSupport VLAN configuration and secure device segmentationAssist with troubleshooting Layer 1–3 issues impacting systemsQualifications5+ years of experience in physical security systems or access control administrationStrong hands-on experience with:Badging/access control systemsGenetec platform (required or highly preferred)Experience supporting security system monitoring and operationsFamiliarity with:Door controllers, badge readers, and access hardwareBasic understanding of networking (IP devices, connectivity, troubleshooting) Preferred SkillsExperience in manufacturing or large-scale facility environmentsKnowledge of video surveillance systems (CCTV/IP cameras)Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionWhy Join Compal?Be part of a fast-growing U.S. manufacturing startup environment backed by a global leaderOwn and impact critical security infrastructure from the ground upWork cross-functionally with IT, Facilities, and Operations teamsOpportunity to grow with a company at the forefront of AI and advanced manufacturing"Building Tomorrow"
