The solution is designed and scoped; your job is to build it. You will work from a signed-off solution design specification, implement 40 deliverables, and operate under architect oversight throughout.Duties & Responsibilities:Implement the Asset Traceability fields. Add an Orchard Core recipe that captures original file name at upload and links each asset back to its source storage location; remove two deprecated classification dropdowns while preserving their stored data.Build the Image Management Part. Implement a custom Orchard Core Part that groups six image-specific fields (source platform, stock image identifier, demographic classification flags, permission flag, publishing tool) and uses a JavaScript behavior to show them only when the asset type is Image.Add Asset Classification fields. Implement Learning Objectives, Session/Theme Number, and Slide Number fields to support curriculum program alignment.Build the Media Rights Request content type. Implement a new structured record type in PAM with status tracking (New, Pending, Approved) and a custom permission component that restricts status changes to Approved to users holding the `MediaRightsApprover` role; record each status change to Application Insights for audit.Execute the technical spike in coordination with the architect: validate Orchard Core's native numeric field for decimal round-trip accuracy and confirm the JavaScript conditional display approach. Results gate all subsequent implementation.Deploy across three environments: dev, staging, and production. All changes are additive; no existing Azure Blob Storage, Service Bus, or downstream pipeline integrations are modified.Participate in the graphic artist validation session, present the Image Management field values (Source options, Published Output options) to graphic artist representatives and incorporate feedback before staging sign-off.Produce a consolidated operations reference a single document covering environment configuration, deployment steps, and role assignment for the `MediaRightsApprover` permission.Required Experience:Hands-on experience with **Orchard Core CMS**: you have written a recipe, built a custom Part or Field, and know how content type definitions and display shapes work. You do not need to be walked through the module structure.Solid **.NET 8** background; the PAM application is ASP.NET Core on Orchard Core.Comfort writing **JavaScript** for CMS editor behaviors: the image-specific field visibility toggle requires a client-side conditional display shape that responds to the asset type selection.Working familiarity with **Azure**: Blob Storage, Service Bus, Application Insights. You will write audit events to App Insights and must not disturb existing integrations.Ability to write **inline documentation and a concise operations reference**: implementation estimates include local verification and documentation; the consolidated operations doc is a delivery artifact, not an afterthought.What You Will Not Do:Design the solution: the specification is complete and your job is to implement it faithfully, flagging any implementation-time discoveries to the architect.Make scope decisions independently: if a technical finding changes the approach (e.g., the numeric field spike fails), escalate to the architect before proceeding.Manage stakeholder relationships or run discovery sessions: those are architect responsibilities.
