Sales Representative – Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices
Job SummaryThis role will be responsible for driving sales growth by developing and maintaining client relationships within specific healthcare segments: skilled nursing facilities, medical offices, hospitals, schools, and corporate service programs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans targeting skilled nursing facilities, medical offices, hospitals, educational institutions, and corporate clientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in these healthcare segmentsConduct product demonstrations of our laboratory testing services tailored to each client segmentActively prospect and identify new business opportunities within assigned territoryDevelop customized proposals addressing specific testing needs for different healthcare settingsAttend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events relevant to our target marketsMaintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in CRM systemCollaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of testing servicesProvide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market intelligenceStay current on healthcare regulations affecting laboratory testing requirementsRequiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related fieldClinical laboratory experience or healthcare industry experience strongly preferred3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in healthcare or laboratory servicesKnowledge of testing requirements specific to skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and corporate drug testing programsKnowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA, CLIA, and CPT/ICD codingUnderstanding of clinical testing workflows in different healthcare settingsKnowledge of regulatory requirements for different types of testing (drug screening, diagnostic, etc.)Experience selling laboratory testing services to one or more of our target segmentsExperience selling to multiple stakeholders within healthcare organizationsDemonstrated success with consultative selling approaches in healthcareExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesValid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory (50-70%)PreferredProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong presentation and negotiation skillsProficiency with CRM software and MS Office SuiteExisting relationships with decision-makers in target customer segments
