Backend Software Engineer, SDK
For our client, we are seeking a Backend Software Engineer, SDK to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will focus on building and enhancing software development kits that are relied on by developers across multiple platforms. You will help improve the performance, resiliency, and usability of core developer-facing libraries while contributing to open-source codebases. In partnership with engineering and product teams, you will influence feature delivery, technical priorities, and best practices that support a high-quality developer experience.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $145,500 – $200,090 annually
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SDKs across multiple platforms Implement features to improve performance and resiliency Collaborate with engineering and product teams on major feature releases Maintain open-source repositories actively Identify improvements and advocate for best practices
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with at least two programming languages from .NET, Go, Ruby, Python, NodeJS, or Java Demonstrable experience building libraries and packages for developers Strong fundamentals in computer science Experience with open-source software contributions Self-starter with problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
