DescriptionRiVidium Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-based systems. This role focuses on hybrid and multi-cloud environments and serves as a key bridge between traditional IT infrastructure and modern cloud solutions, enabling the organization to fully leverage cloud technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and define cloud architectures for new and existing systems and servicesImplement and manage scalable, secure solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and event-driven architecturesOversee day-to-day cloud operations to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiencyEstablish secure, software-defined cloud interconnects between on-premises systems and cloud environmentsImplement security controls and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulationsTroubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues with minimal disruptionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that improve performance, scalability, and securityAlign cloud solutions with mission objectives and organizational requirementsMinimum Qualifications Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with current and emerging technologiesProven experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Strong knowledge of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and analyticsExperience with network security, identity and access management (IdAM), and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, NIST)Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks, including RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIGsStrong understanding of networking, firewalls, and role-based access control (RBAC)Experience with IdAM technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), LDAP, and cloud-based identity solutionsProficiency with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologiesBachelor's degree or vocational diploma in IT, Information Systems, or a related field Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree Preferred QualificationsAWS and/or Microsoft certifications at the Associate or Expert level (e.g., Solutions Architect, Systems Administrator, or Engineer)Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Navy (DoN), or law enforcement environmentsCertifications (Required) Must meet DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II requirementsCompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) requiredAbout the Organization Established in 2008, RiVidium, Inc.
