Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com.We are currently looking for a Contracts Analyst for our Houston, TX office.POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Contracts Analyst is an essential member of Boardwalk's Legal Department, working with attorneys and internal clients on a wide variety of legal matters. Candidates must work well in a team environment. Representative duties include:Drafting and Reviewing: preparing and revising/redlining contracts and analyzing terms and conditions to identify potential risks for the company or compliance issues, e.g.:confidentiality agreementsservice agreementsscope of work agreementspurchase order terms and conditionspurchase and sale agreementsNegotiation: negotiating terms and conditions with contractors and suppliers to secure beneficial agreementsCompliance: ensuring contracts meet legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal company policiesTraining: providing training on legal procedures, best practices, and company policies to internal stakeholders/clientsOnboarding: assisting with contractor qualification and onboarding, as necessaryREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEMinimum of 4 years' experience working with contractsStrong aptitude in reviewing and redlining contractsExcellent writing skills and attention to detailStrong understanding of confidentiality principles and business relationshipsExperience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Experience in the construction, engineering, or pipeline industries is preferredFamiliarity with litigation process / management is preferredPREFERRED EDUCATION:Two-year applicable associate degree in a technical field or Bachelor's DegreeParalegal CertificationADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, maintains a drug-free workplace and will require pre-employment drug & substance abuse testing before hiring.Boardwalk Pipelines, LP, is an equal opportunity employer.
