MRI Technologist

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and patient care protocols. The MRI Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Duties Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures. Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively, troubleshooting any issues that may arise during scanning. Collaborate with radiologists to ensure proper diagnostic evaluation of images obtained. Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and any relevant medical history. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including CT and sonography as needed. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with MRI procedures. Experience Proven experience in medical imaging, specifically in MRI technology or related fields is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient assessment and imaging. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Experience with aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment during medical procedures is highly desirable.
