Together, we secure everything from family garages to the world's most iconic stadiums and skyscrapers.Clopay National Accounts (Storefronts Division) is seeking a proven Strategic Sales Manager with a strong background in outside B2B sales, specifically within the commercial door industry. This role is responsible for driving growth through national account development, with a focus on both new construction and retrofit projects across commercial, retail, and industrial markets. This person should excel at developing contractor and end-user relationships and has the ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects from lead to close.Fully remote with up to 50% travel to client meetings, project site visits, and periodic travel to Plains, PA. Quarterly in-person meetings along with clients within the National Accounts.Base salary is between $80,000 - $85,000, annually, with a commission structure included.Responsibilities IncludeDrive revenue growth through new national account acquisition in the commercial door marketMaintain and expand relationships with existing clients across multiple verticals, including construction, retail, and industrial sectorsWork collaboratively with internal Sales Operations and Project Management teams throughout the full project lifecyclePresent Clopay’s value proposition to contractors, architects, facility managers, and procurement teamsCreate and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and product solutionsIdentify cross-selling opportunities and support the growth of existing accountsMonitor industry trends and competitive offerings to stay ahead in the marketUtilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline, activity, and account progressRequired Qualifications5–8+ years of outside sales experience in the commercial door, access systems, or related building materials industryProven track record in national account management and project-based salesManaging current clients as well as creating and building a book of business from the group upExperience selling through contractor networks and directly to commercial end-usersFamiliarity with construction documents, architectural plans, and project timelinesSkilled in managing long-cycle sales and coordinating across multiple decision-makersExperience with dock doors; hoods, shelters, bumpers, restraints, dock levelers, etc.,Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Construction Management, or related field)Strong knowledge of commercial door systems, including storefront and industrial applicationsHighly motivated, goal-oriented, and strategic in sales planningExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across project stakeholdersWhy Choose a Career with Us?RoleWe don't just manufacture doors; we engineer the "front door" of the American dream and the security of global commerce.
