AccountantA great opportunity to work with one of our top clients in the Travel industry. Location: Seattle, WA (100% remote) Duration: 6 Months Pay rate: - /hr W2. Responsibilities of Accountant Lead all aspects of one or more finance & accounting projects, directing and leading the activities that require an advanced understanding of Record to report/Order to Cash, billing and invoicing, Cash application & Bank reconciliations, Finance close, and Allocations. Problem solve for Oracle ERP system resolutions and work with IT to develop automated solutions. Works well in a high-pressure environment, ensuring that work is being completed in an accurate and timely fashion. Document business requirements, use cases, and test cases/scenarios. Develop data or finance process flows. Attend appropriate reoccurring meetings as it relates to Finance to assist in managing agendas, presentations, minutes, action items, and follow-ups! Understanding and providing analysis of current business processes Working with cross-functional teams to align opportunities for improvement. Design complex processes and ensure process mapping is complete. Requirements for Accountant Bachelor's or masters degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience with General Ledger accounting/sub-ledgers/Accounting Hub, Statutory Reporting, Asset Management and other accounting functions. Experience using ERP technology (Oracle EBS preferred), including experience in software implementation and data analytics. Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory accounting rules. Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) financial control documentation and compliance testing. Strong project management skills Deep Finance & Accounting Experience. ERP or Finance Systems skills.
