Security Program Manager
Responsibilities
ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the European region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc. Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth.
Ensure on-time delivery of multiple large-scale data center projects for Access Control System, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Video Surveillance System across the US and Brazil Region
Work hand-in-hand with data center project managers in aligning security installation schedules and progress to support delivery timeline
Manage security vendors that perform Enterprise Access Control and Video Surveillance system installation, programming and testing
Guide ByteDance site team to regularly monitor security infrastructure installation progress by data center providers
Partner closely with ByteDance design managers in reviewing security design of the data centers, as well as compliance of standards and specifications
Support the ByteDance commercial team in works related to expansion into new countries, such as site survey, security vendor RFP and onboarding, etc
Collaborate with cross-department teams to align on future security architecture and retrofit works, with occasional syncs during different timezones
Drive and own department's security program initiatives such as review of security design standards, design documentations, cost optimization, system technology development roadmap, knowledge sharing of security technology, etc
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering or other IT/Security technology related qualifications (e.g. PSP, CPP, CSPM or product-specific certifications)
3+ years of direct hands-on experience in the implementation of Enterprise Video Surveillance and Access Control Systems, with preference for critical infrastructure projects
At least 1 year of experience in managing security vendors as an end user or client role
Familiarity in physical security design standards for data centers in US region
Must possess a high degree of integrity and accountability, as well as the ability to lead and inspire change even without authority
Demonstrate stakeholder management during times of conflicting priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in PMP will be a plus
Certification in CPP or familiarity of physical security operations in data centers will be a plus
Basic knowledge of IP networking will be a plus
Lenel OnGuard, Milestone, Genetec certifications - Preferred

?For Pay Transparency?Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100800 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
