The office setting is shared with multiple specialties and includes:Team Composition:2 OB/GYNs2 Family Practice with OB (FPBO)2 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)Duties Include:OB/GYN clinic careOB and GYN call coverage through Labor & Delivery Unit and Emergency DepartmentSetting: Critical Access Hospital and ClinicRequired Procedures:C-SectionEctopic pregnancy managementRepair of 3rd-4th degree lacerationsSupport Staff:Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in clinicLabor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) at the hospital Additional Details Average Worked Callback Hours:Weekday: 3-4 hoursWeekend: 1-2 hoursLess than 50% on weekdays, more on weekends and ERReason for Coverage: Medical LeaveFTE: Full-time equivalent preferredDealbreakers: Must be comfortable handling low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate (FHR) interpretation, routine and complicated deliveries, OB inductions, and emergent GYN surgeries. Must be willing to assist and supervise C-sections if needed.
