Sr. Compensation Analyst

Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst on behalf of our client, a prominent furniture manufacturer, located in Corte Madera, CA. This role is responsible for supporting the design, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's compensation programs. The Senior Compensation Analyst will partner closely with Human Resources and business leaders to conduct market analyses, benchmark compensation, support annual compensation planning, and provide data-driven recommendations that ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. This position is ideal for a highly analytical professional with strong technical skills and experience supporting compensation strategies within large, complex organizations.Key Responsibilities:Conduct salary benchmarking, market pricing, and compensation analyses to support competitive pay practicesParticipate in annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary adjustmentsAnalyze compensation data and workforce trends to provide actionable recommendations to HR and business leadersSupport the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, and compensation guidelinesParticipate in salary survey submissions and analyze survey results from providers such as Mercer, Radford, WTW, and AonAssist with job evaluations and job leveling initiatives to ensure internal equity and market competitivenessSupport equity compensation analysis and administration as neededDevelop reports, dashboards, and executive presentations using compensation and workforce dataPartner with HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation-related initiatives and performance management processesEnsure compensation programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain accurate compensation data within HRIS systems and support system enhancementsIdentify opportunities to improve compensation processes, reporting, and data integritySupport global compensation initiatives and geographically dispersed workforce programs, as applicableRequirements include:Education:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field requiredMaster's degree or advanced certification is a plusExperience:3–5 years of progressive compensation experience within midsize to large organizations (1,000–2,000+ employees)Experience supporting salary benchmarking, market pricing, and compensation analysisExperience partnering with HR and business leaders on annual compensation planning and performance managementExperience with global compensation programs preferredExperience supporting geographically dispersed workforces preferredExperience with equity compensation administration or analysis preferredSkills:Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creationStrong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsAbility to interpret complex compensation data and communicate business-focused recommendationsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh attention to detail and accuracyCertifications:Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferredAdditional Human Resources certifications are a plusKnowledge:Compensation strategy, salary administration, and pay structuresMarket pricing methodologies and salary survey participationJob evaluation and job leveling methodologiesAnnual merit, bonus, and compensation planning cyclesEquity compensation principles and administrationHR metrics, workforce analytics, and executive reportingOracle HRIS preferredExperience with UKG, CompAnalyst, Google Workspace, BenAdmin, bswift, and Canva is a plusCompensation compliance and applicable employment regulationsKey Competencies:Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsData-driven decision-makingBusiness acumen and strategic thinkingExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesRelationship building and cross-functional collaborationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentInitiative, accountability, and professionalismContinuous improvement mindsetAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive compensation information with discretionCompany Overview:Company Industry: Furniture ManufacturingLocation: Corte Madera, CaliforniaEqual Opportunity Employer Statement: Search Solution Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and respected.
