In this role, you will edit high-converting ad content and premium brand videos for small and mid-size businesses — primarily in service industries. Our agency runs end-to-end campaigns: we shoot the content, build the ads, manage placements on Meta (Instagram & Facebook) and TikTok, and deliver qualified leads to our clients.As our Video Editor, you will work across three client service tiers — from content-only production retainers to full-scale growth partnerships — meaning you will touch everything from fast-turnaround social ads to polished corporate brand films. This is a fast-paced, creative, and detail-oriented role. If you take pride in your craft, move with urgency, and understand that a video is only as good as its edit, you'll thrive here.What You'll Be EditingShort-Form Content (Primary Volume)15–60 second ads for Instagram Reels, Facebook Feeds/Stories, and TikTokScripted and directed footage shot by our production teamHook-driven cuts designed for paid ad performance and organic engagementMust understand pacing for short-form — fast cuts, pattern interrupts, retention editingLong-Form Brand Content2–5 minute corporate branding videos in documentary and testimonial styleClient spotlight videos, service overviews, and brand story filmsInterviews with b-roll layering, music beds, and clean narrative structureRequired SkillsPlatform fluency: You know the difference between editing for Instagram Reels vs. TikTok vs. Facebook Feed. Aspect ratios, safe zones, and attention patterns — you get it without being told.Seamless transitions: Not gimmicky transitions — purposeful, clean, well-timed transitions that serve the story and the viewer.Caption accuracy: You will be adding captions to most deliverables. Your grammar must be impeccable. Spelling errors, wrong punctuation, or unreviewed auto-captions are not acceptable.Motion graphics & text animation: Clean, branded lower-thirds, title cards, kinetic text, and simple graphic overlays. Your graphics should look intentional, not like an unmodified template.Color grading: Basic color correction and consistent grading across a series of clips.Audio mixing: Dialogue clarity, music balancing, and sound effects where appropriate.Software: Adobe Premiere Pro preferred. DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro considered. CapCut acceptable for short-form only if output quality is high.Smart ExpectationsThese are the performance standards we hold every editor on our team to.
