This is a rewarding opportunity to serve your community and help individuals in need of stability, care, and guidance.Job DescriptionA psychiatric/behavioral health facility is seeking a dedicated Secure Tech to join their team. In this role, you will provide basic patient care while ensuring the safety and security of the facility. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and play a key role in supporting patients with daily living skills and maintaining a secure therapeutic environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide basic patient care and assist with daily living skillsTake vital signs under the direction of a Registered NurseMonitor and patrol premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule violationsRespond to emergencies including fires or hazardous situationsConduct searches of new individuals and document belongings in EMROrient individuals to the unit, including schedules and expectationsMonitor behavior and report changes to nursing staffComplete accurate documentation of patient activities and assessmentsPerform safety checks (Q15, 1:1, LOS as required)Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)Facilitate group activities per facility policyMonitor for contraband and enforce safety policiesSecure facility doors, exits, and windows as requiredRespond promptly to alarms and incidentsParticipate in shift reports and communication handoffsPerform additional duties as assignedRequirementsExperience in a security-related role (Required)Experience working with mental health or substance abuse populations (Preferred)Must be 21 years of age or olderValid Driver's LicenseHigh school diploma or equivalentFingerprint-based background check (Georgia & Federal)Drug screenClean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 7 yearsCurrent Auto InsuranceWhat is our culture?There are a few things we look for across all hires at ATC, regardless of role or team.First, we look for candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and who will thrive in a culture that values teamwork, grit, and innovation.
